shit. i think i left the same comment about 8 times. sorry richie.
Thanks for the mention on you podcast. I didn't mean to come across so "salty".I was impressed with the podcast. You sound alot smarter than I imagined. We should hook up and do one. Old school and new school, bipartisan culinaria!
Denver/Boulder based, I listen to your podcasts in the morning before I trek off to work. It makes me feel better about the next 12 hours I endure while I am there. Also, I laugh to myself when I think about shit on the podcasts and people think I'm crazy. woot.
PBR and top shelf bourbon?Shit. You guys drink just like we (cooks) do in Louisville.Funny how miles apart, we all think the same when it comes to liver pickling.
hey, so i've been catching on your blog after a chef at the restaurant i work at suggested reading it. awesome podcasts, especially the last one. the talk about tipping (especially the point about it being a "thank you") is sooo true. it's our policy in the restaurant that our servers thank the customers for the tip before they leave. and just that works wonders to get return customers. anyway, keep posting great info/pics. if i think of any questions, i'll write.cheers,-Peter
Hey gang, I have been following this blog for a few months now off and on. I was glad to see you had a podcast so I dl'd it to my blackberry and listened to it at work today. Some really entertaining stuff. I am not in the industry but I like food and am learning to cook a little. i liked the post about the Culinary Institute and the shortcuts you can take if you don't go to one... great stuff... I think I might try to do some of it... anyway, keep up the podcasts, they are great to listen to and it makes me feel like I am doing a little armchair travel when you talk about restaurants there and what all you guys do on your weekends...thanksRon
Wow, I'm so glad I got this blog from Richie. Didn't know what I was missing until now. Richie, this be some good readings! Also, next time you need pictures of food, let me know. I can definitely help with that.
