Congratulations "Blogs of Note" winner. Great 78 Hamburger post for the occasion.
You have put into words the peices of my life which we have lived in the kitchen across the country if not beyond...Keep it rolling
The writing is fresh and immediate. The situations are real and exciting. It feels like reality television. Great blog!lakeviewersixtyfivewhatnow.blogspot.com

hmmm nothing better than a menu listing a bunch of dead animals to be served to the glutton
Love the perspective. It's been years, but I worked as a line cook too.Congrats on blog of note!Lori Lynn
OMG! My friend Debi has that exact stove in her home! LOL she does have 9 kids so it makes sense! Congrats on being Blog of Note.
I don't get why on earth anyone would order food from a guy that stinks??
Why would anyone even order food from a guy that smells?
Greetings from a fellow 415-er. Will keep reading your blog, will keep eating at your restaurant. Will continue to feel bewildered about the fact that people enjoy eating calamari.
Why not present Randy with a package of soap? Anonymously, of course. Or, perhaps, plainly, fire the stinker!
Congrats! I love the blog I'll definitely be back!
Stopping by to say congrats on "blogs of note" Enjoy!
Wtf is pinot noir?
Came across your blog bc its the "blog of note" and its 3am in Chicago and I'm a line cook on her second day off and I have that stir crazy panic feeling you described...itching to get back to work tomorrow. Anyway, great blog- will continue reading for sure. There is so much comfort in knowing no matter what kitchen it is the cooks are all essentially the same. firstname.lastname@example.org

Great stuff! But sorry, beaten you in Pastas...
I enjoy reading your blog and seeing the photos and videos of life in the kitchen. I was a short order cook in my youth and I managed a pizza/spaghetti family style restaurant in my twenties. I have always liked the life but I it is not the career I chose. Keep up the good work. Ron
I always wonder at people who love cooking who say they want to work in a restaurant, because cooking as a hobby and cooking as a profession has to be TOTALLY different.Have you ever regreted going prof?Check out my food blog:http://aspoonaforkandaknife.blogspot.com/
